I use my creative voice work and sounding practices to deepen my inner listening skills. Sounding has transformed my life and allowed me to access deepened intuition, and spiritual, physical and environmental awareness. My sanctuary is the place where I connect with my Higher Guidance through sound, silence, meditation, and ritual.
Creating a meaningful and intentional space can help you strengthen your connection with your Inner Being. Your Inner Being or Higher Self has a bird's eye view of your life and wisdom and perspective to share with you if you are willing to listen.
You can create a sacred space for yourself to be able to tune into your Inner Being. Having a dedicated physical space is not necessary at all. However, it helps teach us to detach from external distractions and come into a deeper presence. The goal as you improve your inner listening skills is to be able to find this place within yourself anytime, anywhere. Creating sanctuary incorporates the following components: Intention, Place and Time, Ambiance and Meaning, and Ritual.
An Intention is a statement of being and desire. It can guide, motivate, and inspire us to action and bridge the creation of healthy habits and manifestations. In everyday life, most of us don’t give much thought or attention behind what we do and why. We are habitually living, acting from social conditioning or social expectations, not thinking about whether or not these things feel good, make sense, or lead us somewhere we want to be. Intentional living is the conscious direction of energy and action. As we intend, we become. It is with our intention that we create and manifest. Are you living with intention? If not, where is life taking you?
Time and Space. To manifest something new in our lives, we need to create space for it to come in. Sometimes it means clearing something away, saying no to one thing and yes to another.
Everyday life has constant demands on our attention and multiple distractions, and it is important to cultivate balance. Your sanctuary is your container of self-care and inner reflection that will generate enormous clarity and more space in your life for tangible transformations to take place.
Your sanctuary should be a meaningful and quiet area you can access easily and consistently on a regular basis, where you can comfortably and freely do your sacred activities without disturbing others or feeling self-conscious. It could be indoors or outdoors, at home or elsewhere. Schedule “sanctuary time” and commit to it regularly.
Meaning & Ambiance. Ambiance describes the appealing qualities of the atmosphere of your sanctuary, and how it accommodates your intention and activity and sets the mood. To enhance positive energy flow in your space, incorporate the elements: earth, water, fire, air, or symbols of the elements in art or decoration. You may also want to incorporate symbols of benevolence, support and inspiration: angels, ancestors, deceased loved ones, inspiring people, spiritual or religious figures, and animals. Everything you include should have a significant, personal resonance with you. This ambiance you are creating IS you.
Ritual is intentional, meaningful, and symbolic action. Thoughtful and deliberate actions foster deeper consciousness in everyday life - whether we are doing dishes, driving in traffic, or cooking for the family. Practicing ritual in your sanctuary increases your awareness of the ritual aspects of everyday life, the regular activities, and the schedule you maintain. Create and follow a specific practice that gets you “in the zone,” and aligns with your intentions.
Your sacred sanctuary is a special space for deep inner connection, divine communication, and contemplation. It is a refuge from the demands of the modern world. In your sanctuary, you can be inspired; you feel good; you are reminded of the potential for peace, harmony, and contentment in your life and in your world. Have fun creating yours, allowing it to change and evolve along with you, as you listen to and follow your Inner Guidance.
As a personal practice, I sound as part of my daily meditation to tap into streams of universal wisdom and creative potential. At my altar, I light a candle and a bundle of sage and wrap myself in the cleansing smoke. The scent carves out sacred space. It asks me to be present here and now, to open my heart, mind, throat, and ears, and elicits memories of metamorphic catharsis and sacred ceremony.
In my heart or out loud, I articulate a desire for a solution in the form of a positive intention. Connecting to my higher self and calling in the ancestors, my spirit animal companions, angels and guides, all those who love me unconditionally and supporting me in my highest purpose. I offer gratitude for their love and presence. I place one hand over my heart and the other over my solar plexus and breathe deeply.
I start with a gentle "ohm" repeating several times, or some kind of rhythmic vocal play that feels good to me. Sometimes it moves my body. I welcome this because the movements unlock any resistance I am holding. Sometimes 'ugly sounds' happen, but I don’t judge. It’s necessary to voice the ‘ugly’ to make way for harmony. I allow my sounds to expand and morph organically, releasing and re-harmonizing through breath and rhythm. It feels so good to ride this wave, observing each soundscape unfolding like a watercolor painting in my inner vision. The sounds vibrate through my vocal cords, pouring like liquid stars into my ears and down into my heart, belly, and pelvis, rising up through the crown of my head and out into the ethers, I feel fully activated; the definition of ALIVE; totally tapped in and turned on to living Source energy.
In this state of connection, I receive words, colors, textures, images, and messages that I can then explore more deeply with my sounds to flesh out my understanding and interpretation. Sometimes I am surprised by what I see and hear. Many times my inner knowing of some personal situation is validated or clarified. It is a valuable tool, to trust and follow the soundscape and to listen with every cell of my body, linking to a Divine channel and the limitlessness of love and wisdom readily available. In it is the capability to mold this 3D life experience through the focus of intention and action to create anything I desire: To heal, release, and re-calibrate.
Anyone with a voice can learn to do this. As a vocal coach and Soul Voice practitioner, I work one on one with clients and in groups to help them activate their creative voices and release emotional pollution, pain, and negative programming. At 12Listen, I use the above techniques in my readings and for energy clearing and balancing. One of the time-based sessions I offer is a "Transformational Sound & Coaching Session." In this session, you can choose up to three issues of focus: any physical issues, personal problems or situations you want to heal or shift. What you can expect: First we talk about what is going on in your life and work our way into the heart of the issue(s). Then I take you on a shamanic sound journey through your body, translating what I see, feel and hear into intuitive, vocalized sounds that will touch your heart and subconscious. You may experience physical sensations, emotional release, memory recall, profound relaxation, and/or improved mental clarity. Afterward, we share our experiences and I give you personalized suggestions for your self-care and integration to maintain this energetic upgrade. I suggest that you lie down comfortably with headphones for the best experience and leave time and space after the session for integration. Even the most tightly-wound, stressed-out clients say they feel more clear, relaxed, refreshed and more self-aware after a session like this.
I also offer a similar email-based session called the ‘State of the Union’ Chakra Reading. This is the ultimate full-spectrum chakra reading and remote healing session for identifying and removing blockages and obstacles in your life. You can send me your three problem areas (relating to your physical body, relationships, career, health, social/emotional challenges) in as much detail as you like, plus your wishes or positive intentions for resolution and healing. I will sound journey through your body, explore what is going on in your energetic field, and describe the experience from clairaudient, clairsentient, clairvoyant perspectives. You will receive an audio recording of my interpretation, including channeled guidance and positive affirmations.
When sound journeying together, sometimes we have shared visions or sensations. Other times our different experiences combined give specific insights for how to move forward. Every session weaves a magnificent tapestry, manifesting connections and constellations of healing and transformation. If you’re curious and want to try a small sampling of a sound experience in any time interval, I invite you to meet me over at 12Listen for your next reading.
In golden, harmonic resonance,
This meditation is intended to unite the essence of Gaia, the soul of Planet Earth, with the Light of the Christ Consciousness. This consciousness is pure, unconditional love and luminous light; pure awareness of the nature of eternity and the transmutation of all notions of suffering in this human experience.
Today I want to share a basic practice to help you access the full depth of your voice. Your breath capacity and relaxation are key to getting started. Follow along as I demonstrate, and then try it yourself.
Start by taking in a few long, deep in-breaths with an open mouth and relaxed jaw. Expand the belly and stretch the diaphragm as you fill your lungs to capacity. Breathing fully, we access the deep channel of power from the solar plexus, carrying it up through the heart and the throat.
Now, breathe out in the same way, emptying the belly, contracting the diaphragm, and emptying the lungs. Do this several times with full awareness and concentration on the pattern and fullness of your breath. Imagine a crystal clear drinking straw running from the crown of your head to your perineum, and each breath clearing this channel completely. As you breathe in this way, you might start to feel light-headed. Just go slow - there’s no rush. This deep breathing exercise might also bring up emotions. Your lungs are the wings of your heart, and as you breathe, you activate the heart chakra, the house of our vulnerability, grief, and sorrow.
Now, with your next out-breath, make the sound ahhhhhh, like a big out-sigh. In this ahh sound, you are releasing all tension, stress, fear, discomfort from any part of your body. Pull any discomfort or emotion into the drinking straw from wherever in your body you are holding it, and sigh it out. Do this several times, exaggerating the sigh as if you are the most relaxed person in the whole world.
Now continue to breathe in and out but as you ahhh on the out-breath, create a pillar of strength that runs through your whole body. Your ahh sound should be firm, steady, and powerful. Imagine you are God sounding the world into being. Feel this sound rising from the root of your perineum and out the top of your head. Do this several times until you start to feel convinced and confident of the power of your own voice. If you enjoy it, keep going!
The third part of this exercise is to then roll your ahhh sound into the sound OM. Repeat this again and again in your own rhythm and it will be like the waves on the ocean lapping up the shore. Ahh is the sound of creation and manifestation - the sound of God - and Om is an appreciation of the physical manifestation. Let this sound AH-OM be your prayer for the conscious awareness and expansion of your creative and healing potential. I highly recommend this as part of your daily meditation practice.
I’m a big fan of Louise Hay’s book, “You Can Heal Your Life.” Whenever I’m working with clients or friends (or even myself!) with an illness or injury, it’s one of my go-to reference guides. However, through exploring energetic and emotional bodies through my Soul Voice work, I have noticed that not all suppressed emotions, memories, and thought patterns manifest in the same way. And why would they? We each have our own unique life experiences. Our cells not only carry the imprints of this lifetime, but also karmic information and ancestral patterns. The way we carry our emotions is different, too: how comfortable do we feel in the world, how do we express ourselves or suppress ourselves. Here’s where my inner sociologist merges with the energetic practitioner, researching the inner soundscapes of the unexpressed world. I am not a doctor, nor a scientist. What follows is based on my intuitive impressions, philosophical beliefs, and personal experiences with transformation, healing, and manifestation.
We are born into a divinely designed and refined instrument. The body is an intelligent, complex, durable and adaptable system. Call it the “IBod.” It’s a ‘“How to Human” guidebook and the radio receiver of the soul. When there is a clear connection, we are tapped into the navigational system and receive the messages. Pain, illness, and injury are the soul’s way of saying, “Listen.” Many of us still separate what is happening with the body from habitual thoughts, beliefs, and the inner emotional landscape; however, the system is fully integrated. We must be responsible for our own health and well-being and conscious of the state of our inner worlds.
The impact that pain, illness, and injury have is that they interrupt our normal routine; they often force us into a ‘new normal.’ The body is constantly negotiating equilibrium, balancing the inner world and the outer world. The body speaks the language of analogy. The pain or issue can actually tell you exactly what symbolic ‘medicine’ is needed. The solution is reflected in the problem, like a mirror. For a simple example, my migraine headaches are the result of overwork, information overload, and physical-world focus. My symptoms are heightened sensitivity to sound, light and odor - an overload of sensory information. To recover, I need to stop everything, tune out the world and go inward.
Pay attention to the metaphor or symbol of the situation. Consider the body parts affected and the role they play. How is it relating to your experience of yourself in the world? Feet, knees, and hips can indicate feeling unstable, lack of support, fear of moving forward, or a need to slow down - connected to root chakra issues of grounding, finances, family and security. Arms, shoulders, and hands can indicate an inability to receive, or giving too much, needing support, needing to be more generous, etc - related to heart chakra issues of love, grief, codependency, loneliness. These are generalized descriptions of course, and the organs and systems of the body work in the same way. There are many ways to interpret the body’s signals revealing hidden emotional and mental landscapes. The signals are often complex and convoluted because they are made of memories and feelings, thoughts and beliefs, along with physical life experiences. When we have multiple physical manifestations in the body or the outer world experience, it takes time and patience to excavate and clear. This is why when we do healing work we often come back to the same issue again and again, like the layers of an onion. Instant healing is possible, but because habitual thoughts and suppressed emotions have such an influence on the body, if we do not address them also, the symptoms will return.
The more practice listening to the body’s messages, the more attuned you will get to know what is needed. Right now, you just want the physical problem to go away, but I encourage you to engage with it. This pain, illness, or injury is your soul speaking to you, seeking communion, wanting to help you, showing you the way - not just related to your health, but also your relationships, career, family, spirituality, and the fulfillment of your goals and dreams!
Cancer is one of the most notorious health issues of the day. If we look at the characteristics of the cancer cell symbolically, it says a lot: It defies ‘the norm;’ it’s opportunistic and a survivalist under all conditions. It uses whatever it has to grow, nourishes itself independently. It does not differentiate and it has a single purpose: to proliferate and grow. The cancer cell ‘overrides the system.’ It has been called the ‘abnormal’ cell and the immortal cell.
What does this mean? I feel that cancer represents the soul’s desire to grow through breaking established patterns! Cancer cells express radical growth and expansion, symbolizing immortality, symbolizing tenacity under any and all circumstances. In consciousness evolution, we are called to break through boundaries, expand the possibilities, and thrive! Wherever cancer appears in the body is also a symbol of where in life we are called to release, break free, emerge, expand, and make our presence known!
We are living in an important time of enormous personal and collective transformation. More and more people are choosing to live life on their own terms, catalyzing, engaging, and transforming personal, cultural, political, social, ancestral and karmic patterns. By focusing attention on the physical body and physical manifestations in this analogical way, we open new doors to healing.
Do you remember the last time you howled after stubbing your toe? Grabbed your belly and moaned because of a stomach ache? Sighed long and loud after a busy day on your feet?
Your voice holds all the frequencies your body needs to heal itself. When you speak or make a sound you bridge your inner world to the outer world. Intentional, intuitive and exploratory sounds speed healing and deepen physical and emotional awareness. Sounding is instinctual and natural. It does not require you to be a singer or to memorize notes or magic words. The more playful and creative you are, the better. You can do it!
Vocal play. Before diving into the sounding techniques, practice making sounds. Go through the alphabet, sounding each letter. Play with the different sounds individually and then experiment by blending them together. While you do this, pay attention to how each sound feels to you.
Listen. The first and most important step is to sit with your pain and let it speak to you. This may be challenging because we typically avoid pain at all costs. Your pain has a message for you. Observe it. Surrender. Drop your awareness into your pain and look at it from the inside out. Ask yourself:
All of these descriptions will help you during the sounding process.
Now take a moment to visualize yourself without the pain. What would you be doing? What would be different? How do you WANT to feel? This will help you visualize the transformation and transmutation of your pain.
Imitate with sound the pain you feel. Is it a sharp pain, like a knife? Make a ‘sharp sound.’ A sharp sound might be short or staccato and high pitched; or hard consonant sounds like a ‘k’ or ‘t’. Chronic, non-generalized pain might be sounded as slow, high-pitched or droning sound with a repetitive rhythm that rises and falls. These are just suggestions. Trust your own expressions and interpretations.
Make a sound that is opposite to your pain. If you are experiencing sharp pain, experiment with softening and smooth sounds. Long vowels and gentle consonants like ‘l’ 'm’ ‘b’ or ‘sh’. Incorporate breath sounds like ‘haaah’ or hooo.
Make an ‘ugly’ sound. Dissonant sounds are ones that are irritating or off-key. When in significant pain, they can help you take control, focus on your breath and vocalize the disharmony you feel in your body.
Every pain tells a story. As you listen and sound at the same time, your sounds evolve. They may speed up, slow down, get louder, softer, change in pitch, change from singing to groaning. Find a sound that feels good and flow with it. Allow it to change naturally, flowing from one sound into another or changing abruptly to something else. You may stay on the same sound for a long time and that is OK, too. Trust yourself and your process.
If you are visualizing a color, describe the color. If it's blue, what kind of blue? Dark, light, sky blue, navy blue, opaque, transparent? What does it remind you of? Liquid, fog, a solid object or a shape? Does it have a texture or quality? Rough, smooth, lumpy, fragile, heavy? Is there an emotion or memory attached to it? Give each of these a sound. Explore and take note of your feelings, using all of your senses. With your sounds, clarify the color or change the texture. You are in control!
Use visualization to guide your sounds. Focus on the transformation of your pain using images or metaphors. For example, if your pain reminds you of a cluttered metal junkyard, sound and visualize clearing a pathway, bulldozing it, covering it with a layer of snow, or digging a tunnel underneath. What does it sound like? Your interpretation is perfect. Keep going, holding to your vision of perfect healing and pain-free living.
When you vocalize the pain you feel, you open your ears at the same time. These sounds are eruptions from the deep, revealing inner thoughts and emotions. As you sound your physical pain, be aware you may encounter deep emotional pain or memories, or have an awareness of what your pain represents. As you give voice to your pain and hear it for the first time, it may be shocking to you. If it brings up past trauma or intense emotions, stop. Use gentle sounds to calm and soothe yourself.
Evolve into silence. Stop when you feel ‘full.’ Be silent. Be present in your body. It is equally important to experience the absence of sound. This balancing allows greater insights and integration.
AFFIRM: I love my body. I trust my body. I make peace with my body. This body is my vehicle, my sacred temple, throughout this lifetime. I honor my body.
Practice as often as you like. Let me know how it works for you!
Pain is an invitation to listen to and acknowledge the compassion and wisdom the body holds. The body is here and now in the present moment. It is intelligent and articulate. It knows me intimately: it houses secrets, suppressed emotions, and dark thoughts. It knows what is needed and it speaks aloud through pain and illness. When ignored, it will speak louder. When ignored, it will magnetize physical world experiences to emphasize its message. The body is a sacred instrument through which the soul speaks. Listen. Listen. Listen.
Nine years ago I used to sit at my corporate job and listen to Mark Husson's astrology show on Hay House Radio.
I've visited 12Reports for years for astrology reports and readings. This year when I went to order a birthday report for a friend, I noticed they were hiring new advisors for 12Listen. A couple days later, I went back. I thought, "Why not me?" and hastily submitted my application.
Over the next few weeks, I interviewed with C.A. Brooks about the opportunity and went through the testing process. I didn't know what to expect. Since working with the Soul Voice method, my intuitive abilities have amplified, but during my training I was guided not to focus on the images and impressions so much as being present with the sound. But my clients have always appreciated hearing about the insights I receive during a sound session. Always, the colors, symbols and images that I perceive give me so much more information about the deeper issues; how to empower my client, and what is needed for healing and deeper embodiment. I was curious how to translate this into intuitive readings, and was happily surprised at the feedback.
While going through the process, I held the intention: "I have a lavish, steady, dependable income, consistent with integrity and mutual benefit." In two separate interviews, C.A. used these words "integrity" and "mutual benefit." I am impressed by the longevity and integrity of the 12 brand, noticing that many of the 12Listen advisors have long-established, flourishing careers there. It speaks volumes about the organization. I felt as though I was entering a circle of success. Wow, what a manifestation and a blessing!
Since becoming an advisor, I am learning a lot about myself and also how the 12 community can support my work. I jumped in right away to create a weekly horoscope "ChakraScopes" which gives general chakra readings for all of the signs, inner child advice and powerful affirmations. I plan to offer my creative sounding courses on 12Academy, and eventually host my own radio show! I feel blessed to have this platform on which to grow, and to be part of the 12Family of spirit-focused and heart-centered advisors and creatives. Come pop over! I'd love to answer your call or chat!
We took a kayak down the river in Bonaventure, QC on our honeymoon.
The sun browned our arms and legs while the current moved us. We paddled in unison, my partner in the back steering us gently. It was a beautiful day and the water was so clear I wanted to reach out and grab every pretty stone flashing up at me. The river had a song and it sang to us all afternoon. I memorized it in my heart.
The clarity of the river mirrored an evolving clarity in my understanding about what it means to 'be in the flow' of life. There is a stream (of consciousness) with a strong current that carries us to an inevitable landing place where the course of the river (this lifetime) meets the expansive ocean (eternity). We will all arrive eventually. With its rough rapids and calm stretches, the journey requires faith in the river to follow its current, and faith in our capacities to work with it; to take decisive action when necessary, or stop and 'go with the flow,' letting it carry us. Life, like paddling, gets easier with more practice, and it is fun and comforting to share the journey by paddling together with someone.
I complicate things unnecessarily when I am not 'in the flow.' Sometimes I put pressure on myself to effort against the grain. I have believed in the struggle to take control of my life, forgetting that my life is unfolding in its own rhythm. Fortunately, I am animated by the love of Infinite Creation which is playing me like an instrument: Spirit in breath and water, time, space, place, and frequency. I am a momentary flash of light in the bubbling stream. When I surrender to my life and its inevitable expression, I open the door to profound healing and 'magic', synchronicity and divine orchestration.
Getting married in my forties felt different than it did starting out at twenty-one. Back then, I did not know who I was; to be honest, I did not like myself very much and I treated myself poorly. It took years of reclamation to gain the self-acceptance I have now. I attribute this healing to my voice work. Learning to love and appreciate myself translates into a very different way of relating to and accepting others. I bring my imperfections and my uniqueness to the table in humility and love and it shapes my connections and expressions in powerful ways. I like that I am and this translates into every language and every situation I encounter.
Recently, I spent some time among a group of community elders, watching them singing and dancing and enjoying each other's company. Their physical youth was gone, but the spirit of eternity within them glowed vibrantly. In riding the river of life, the years of experience manifest as lines in the flesh, a curve in the back and sparkles the eyes from all the sunlight glinting off the water. I am touched with deep respect for their journeys, their knowledge, their expertise, their courage and persistence.
The human mind cannot grasp eternity but as we start out on the river it seems that is how long we have to go. Only once we start to see the outline of our destination over the horizon, our perception of the journey changes and we realize it will come to an end. This recognition reveals the preciousness of this now moment and the importance of living it out in its fullest expression with deep pleasure and appreciation.
Let the expression of Infinite Creation manifest through you as you ride the current. Go with the flow, enjoy, and thrive.

In it is the capability to mold this 3D life experience through the focus of intention and action to create anything I desire. You can do it too. Here is an example.
This past spring when I was launching my business, I challenged myself to a 21 Day Sound Meditation to focus my intention. I had applied for business funding and because of the novelty of my work, it was a tough sell and required extra work to build the confidence of the decision makers. I decided to use my own 'product' to influence the situation and support myself energetically.
Day 1. I begin with my big, fat, ultimate desire: "I serve humanity and the planet with my sacred work, and all of my material needs are met with ease and grace."
I start to sound, traveling through various layers with shifting vocal expression. It is 100% intuitive, spontaneous, and good. It brings awareness of the 'monkey-mind' soup I am stewing in. Thoughts about mundane stuff - dirty dishes, weeding the garden, walking the dogs - contaminate the potency of my intention. This is part of the process, digging through the pithy gravity of physical experience to the heart of the intention, the spiritual seed of manifestation. Then arrive worries about bills and financial obligations and worthiness issues over funding and finding clients; and finally, nagging drones about not doing enough, not being present enough for the people in my life, etc., etc. I realize then I have been seeking distraction in all the small stuff to avoid rolling up my sleeves to do the job I came here to do. With this awareness, I am released. I float for a while in a lovely void of roaring silence.
I realize I am missing my tribe. I have isolated myself. I want a trusted sister/brother to reflect back to me what I need to see. I need to venture out, meet new people who can "dance" with me.
With that, I begin to dance and sound, drawing on the vitality of my inner sun. Jumping up and down, slapping my thighs and butt, clapping my hands and stomping my feet! AAAHHEEEEHHAAA!!! I crow magnificently like a bird and flap my feathers in a vigorous mating dance. I visualize myself in a field, encircled by the pounding of one hundred drums, and I dance harder and faster. My sounds are bouncing like waves on rolling lava rocks of an infant beach. My inner vision fills with the color orange - the juicy hue of creation, rejuvenation, potency, pleasure - I make a mental note to buy myself something orange to wear.
In my dancing, I release old relationships that have held me back, people who do not return my calls and those who cannot meet me where I am now. It does not matter. I make room for resonant beings in my life!
Day 2. I question: how much faith do I have - in myself? In my Source? I am challenged. What do I do with faith? Sit around and wait? No. I must begin to create marvelous things and the resources will arrive.
Day 3. To help me focus, I choose an Earth Magic card: the Desert. I sound the empty barrenness of hot endless sand until I find an oasis. Assessing my current life, I realize I have arrived at the place of my heart's deepest wish. What an awareness! I encounter a blank canvas, a fresh page, and empty bowl - all symbols of creative potential and possibilities to be fulfilled. I recognize the certainty of my path and I feel profound abundance and the freedom to move forward.
Day 4. I am asked by the funding committee to submit letters of support for my application. I reach out to previous clients, colleagues and my teacher. I focus on drawing in powerful letters of support within the next seven days. I sound a call to action! With my expressions and body movements, I call to me beautiful, potent, grounding letters of influence. Then I relax into a gentle flow of soft tones, fully trusting in the timing, my direction, and my inner guidance.
My daily sounding so far makes me feel very clear, strong and purposeful. Each morning I wake up with butterflies in my belly, feeling my manifestation is coming, knowing I will soon be arriving at my destination.
Day 5. I am energized by the messages of support coming in. I bathe in the sounds of awesome support. Day 6. I sound an anchoring of my supportive foundation and begin to plan my creative fortress. Day 7. I sound for clarity of the value of my service and how that value translates into personal exchange. Day 8. I affirm all is well and that I am fully supported.
Day 9. I receive several letters of support. I print them out and place them on my altar. I sound to connect with the hearts of each committee member (whom I have never met), calling in beneficial, unconditional loving support from all directions, time and space, infusing the paper and digital copies with my powerful intention. I direct my sounds to all four directions, swirling and dancing, proclaiming in giant "whoops!" and soft, gentle "ooohs" that the letters will speak to their hearts and stir their belief in my success. I feel certain, huge waves of love pouring into action. I send the letters.
Day 10. I sound to draw in further support as necessary, and to the committee again to balance the decision making with additional letters of support coming in. "ALL COMPONENTS ARE ALIGNED WITH YES & SUCCESS!" Out of my sounding comes a song of alignment and calling to people across Canada who need and want what I have to offer. I experience an unforgettable vision of flying over the country with wings of stars, finding pockets of golden energy beaming up from locations where I am called. I see myself crossing bodies of water, climbing mountains, and trekking through forests, encountering beautiful, resonant humans, animals and sacred places.
Day 11. I receive more powerful letters which I again infuse with sound and intention. My partner joins me in dancing and sounding in celebration and certainty, animating the letters with his support and energy. I send them along to the committee. Then I focus my intention forward, doing a sound exploration of the feeling of reaching my destination, being relaxed and refreshed and ready to settle into a new reality. I find a feeling of clarity and stability in my financial situation through this practice.
Days 12 & 13. My sounding focuses on my creative potential and what potent action I can make while "waiting for something to happen." Day 14. I sound to illuminate my shadow side for a deeper embodiment of the full spectrum of my spiritual service work. I gain incredible insights for integrating deeper intention into my services. Day 15. I am challenged by inner rebellion and self-sabotage and so I sound radical self-acceptance. Day 16. My intention is to relax into the flow and timing of resources in my life.
I make plans and take inspired action. One step at a time is all I need to take. Each step forward, the ground is under my feet. God guides my best direction.
Day 17. I ask: "How much fun can I have today?!" My sounds are silly, playful, not serious at all! I feel renewed energy, pleasure, and purpose. I am swimming in possibilities!! I make a list of creative dreams to be realized over the next seven years.
Day 18. Fears surface because I have no news about my application. Again, I question myself. I wonder if I am completely deluded. I choose to be gentle today with my sounding. "I observe all is well."
Day 19. I use Earth Magic cards again to focus my intention. With these two cards, Rainbow and Fire, I sound and receive beautiful insights about how my work can best support healing and transformation for myself and others. Day 20. I nourish my heart and dreams with loving sounds. My intention today is "I appreciate my vast supply of inner resources."
Day 21 arrives and I still have no word about my application. Regardless, I decide to sound my readiness to launch, the inevitable success of my business, and celebrate my 21 days of sounding! In doing so, I am fueled by the energy of what I can create and manifest and it motivates me to sound directly to the heart of the person managing my file. Like never before, I make a phenomenal display of sound - roaring in every direction, weaving my sounds and body movements to direct a desired outcome and bring me the YES I seek. I visualize my application as a majestic elephant. It is outrageously obvious and impossible to ignore! I stand firm, boldly sounding in earnest as she tries to hide the elephant in a drawer, push it under her desk, contain it in a corner, wish it away. The elephant is knocking decor off the walls, sitting on her keyboard, creating an enormous distraction. My elephant and my sounds are a call to decisiveness, clear communication and confirmation. I feel seen, heard, and utterly invincible.
A few days later, I receive a phone call that my application is approved.
This structured sounding ritual has proven to be a powerful practice for building clarity of focus and fueling manifestation. The daily commitment builds discipline and improves situations of leaking life-force energy and inner polarity imbalances. It is a valuable process to deepen personal insight, recognize where focus and attention is needed, and helps shift negative thought processes and habits that no longer serve in the course of personal evolution.
